Insurance

It is the owner's responsibility to have insurance coverage on their unit and anything that is exclusive to their unit.  A condominium owner's policy should cover all personal property, furniture, fixtures, appliances etc.. and any items that the Association's documents define as the owner's responsibility.  The Association's insurance does not cover anything that is within the unit, including wall, floor, and ceiling coverings, interior walls, or any plumbing or wiring that is exclusive to the unit.  Please click here to see a notice from our insurance company. and please click here to see information on the Association's policy.

The owner responsibilities are reflected in the  Association's documents and the California Civil Code.  The owner responsibilities include both the owner's property and , which includes the following:

If something happens to your unit, you should contact your insurance company.  It is not appropriate to contact the Association's insurance company as the Association does not have insurance that covers the individual units.
